I had an abortion at 38. I had 2 daughters aged 6 and 8. I took a month to make my decision, but I felt my marriage wouldn’t survive. It wasn’t very happy at the time. Many years following were filled with guilt. I was able to let go when my youngest daughter became pregnant at 22. I encouraged her to continue with her pregnancy. It helped. I now have a beautiful grandson.
